Ben Bage
Sales Account Manager

Ben has been with AHS for 6 years and over this time has gained an in-depth knowledge of the landscape and construction industry. He works closely with his clients to ensure they receive products on time and on budget, no matter the size of the scheme.

“Working with clients over the years has ensured I have a thorough understanding of their needs,” says Ben. “One of the key parts of my job is building successful, long-term relationships with customers. This commitment to our clients has ensured the success of AHS and seen it grow to become the No.1 supplier of bark and compost in the UK. I am so proud to have been a part of that.”

Ben lives on the coast in East Sussex and is a keen sportsman. Although he never fulfilled his dream of becoming a snowboard instructor, he can still be found out on his board on the pistes of Europe, whenever he gets the opportunity. As a keen martial artist, Ben works out with his local Jiu Jitsu club and somehow still finds the time to fit in the odd round of golf!

Find ways to recycle and reuse bark products to reduce waste and environmental impact. Use old bark mulch as compost or incorporate it into your garden beds as a soil amendment. Additionally, consider using bark chips or nuggets for pathways or decorative purposes. By repurposing bark products, you prolong their lifespan and contribute to a more sustainable gardening practice.
