The AHS EXL1 Lightweight Extensive green roof substrate mixture is extremely versatile and is able to support a wide variety of plants across a range of climates.

Its relatively low bulk density allows it to be installed as an extensive option on most roofs. It is also an environmentally friendly product, composed entirely of recycled material. This Lightweight Roof Topsoil’s sandy loam texture improves handling, even in adverse weather conditions.

This Extensive substrate is designed for the planting of sedum schemes. It should be laid at a minimum depth of 80mm and directly on to a drainage board. Extensive Green Roof Substrate meets and exceeds all present G.R.O. guidelines.
